Work in the Energy sector is delivered through framework agreements which provide a core workload of maintenance and refurbishment tasks primarily for non-discretionary engineering and maintenance works as well as access to larger projects. The energy sector is a growing market and the Group is ideally positioned to take advantage of the increase in non-discretionary spending with additional skills following the acquisition of Amco alongside existing complementary skills from within the rest of the Group.
In each of the energy sub-markets we provide a range of activities including multidisciplinary civil, mechanical and electrical engineering services, critical planned and reactive maintenance services, feasibility and solution development, design and design management, project management and construction.
The Group has expertise in nuclear decommissioning where we currently provide mechanical and electrical construction, dismantling and decommissioning services. We carry out installation and commissioning, operation and maintenance services, outage management and working in line processes. These services are carried out through our dedicated multi-skilled staff and operatives.

The Group provides civil, mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance services to the Water sector, specialising in infrastructure development, flood alleviation and river and coastal defence works. Our largest client in this sector, Northumbrian Water, recently appointed Seymour to their AMP5 framework. The framework runs for ten years and follows the Group's successful participation on all four previous AMP frameworks. Additionally, the Group has a number of non-discretionary maintenance frameworks.
Renew specialises in Land Remediation works for a number of high profile clients throughout the UK. The Group has extensive experience in brownfield development and contaminated land management. Remediating contaminated land is becoming an increasingly important specialist service. Renew is able to provide sustainable and innovative techniques for multi-site and bespoke remediation solutions.

Our strength lies in our ability to successfully deliver a variety of integrated and sustainable solutions for our clients.The Group has over 26 years' experience working in the Rail sector delivering projects for clients such as Network Rail, London Underground and a number of train operating companies. Acquired in 2011, specialist engineering business Amco is a leading provider of maintenance works to Network Rail. Work is undertaken through the Building and Civils Delivery Partnership where Amco is the only contractor appointed nationally.
Our experience is in providing civil, building, mechanical and electrical services across the UK rail network where our focus is on non-discretionary infrastructure renewal, enhancements and maintenance as well as capital projects under a number of framework agreements. We are a market leader in tunnel refurbishments developed from many years experience in the mining industry.

Specialist Building activity focuses on the New Build Social Housing, High Quality Residential and Retail markets in the South.
In the New Build Social Housing sector work is delivered using traditional, design build and partnering under framework agreements with clients such as London and Quadrant Housing Group, Estuary Housing and Connected Housing Group.
In High Quality Residential, the Group is a leading provider in the restoration and refurbishment of high quality and prestigious residential properties in and around London. The Group has particular expertise in transforming private residences, listed buildings and those of historical interest, often involving both challenging structural work and specialist finishes. Our expertise in the provision of temporary and substructure works in London with its obvious space restrictions is becoming increasingly important with many clients looking to expand below ground.
With over 50 years experience we specialise in schemes ranging from multi-million pound design and build developments through to refurbishment and restoration projects. We specialise in fast-track and innovative delivery programmes. The Group has built upon its 20 year relationship with Tesco, recently completing two major projects.
